Unleash your financial expertise and make an impact! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Purchase Ledger Clerk. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of our company’s financial transactions. Hours for the role are flexible, approximately 35 hours per week Mon – Fri with a 1pm finish on a Friday.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Match and process supplier invoices on Progress Plus and Sage 50
  • Set up new customer and supplier accounts and maintain existing account details
  • Process expenses and petty cash
  • Check nominal and analytical coding is posted in line with company procedures
  • Ensure goods/purchase orders are receipted in so that month end deadlines are met
  • Check invoices for accuracy and VAT compliance
  • Calculate and check that payments, amounts and records are correct
  • Reconcile supplier statements and deal with supplier payment enquiries
  • Record information, update paperwork and maintaining documents
  • Trade Support Services (TSS) / Custom Declarations
  • Answer and direct incoming calls as appropriate
  • Daily filing duties and general administration support to wider areas within the business when required

 

What you’ll need:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong IT and administration skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently to meet deadlines
  • A self-motivated individual with a positive attitude to work

Job Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all cabins are prepped and sprayed ensuring the highest standard of finish. You will be panting both completed cabins and smaller part assemblies.
What you’ll need:
  • Previous experience working with single and two pack paints
  • Ability to produce high quality work
  • A good work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
Desired Criteria:
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, to ensure production requirements are met.
  • Organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload.
  • Willingness to learn.

  • Read and interpret drawings.
  • Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Carry out minor repairs as required.
  • Maintain high quality, housekeeping and health & safety standards.

  • Previous welding experience.
